Our first fire of the year

The temperatures dropped below 40 last week!  We took advantage of the chilly weather and built a fire, which greatly improved one of our pajama days.  Since our girl is always so interested in whatever her daddy does, she excitedly helped him carry in firewood.  Thanks also to Ken and Mara for the much-needed and much-appreciated fireplace gate.  It's a relief to not worry about the hearth attraction!
